Wk 13- Art Activity- Portfolio Research
Cali Raw Nutrition is the name of the company which specializes in fresh raw dog food. The company is looking for someone who is capable of starting up with this pet business. The work given to these owners wants to ensure that there is a difference towards their pets. These high quality ingredients are to ensure the pets are given the best for their food! The purpose of this is to help these pets lose weight in a healthier version. They want to ensure by switching to raw foods, your dog will be able to live longer.
I would be able to apply to this job because I would be able to contribute 12 to 18 hours each week and my flexibility for next semester would be able to fit what they are asking for. I would also be able to have the responsibility of promoting any events or even their content because I was president of clubs before. I also have experience with customer service which would be beneficial for their company. I would also be able to deliver and do errands as they do require to have a driver’s license and I would also be able to go in person. I can also bring to them a new way to design their social media and maybe even the way that they ship their products so that more clients are receiving their food with joy.
I was able to find this job on Craigslist to apply for a personal assistant. The personal assistance job would be to help the executive on his weekly schedule. They want to ensure that this could help us build our resume. This way we could be able to learn the ropes and network with other vendors. This is an internship that will last for 2 months that may end up being a full-time position. We would take part in communicating with others and making sure that the transactions being taken are complete.
I know that I do not have much experience in the working field so this would be perfect for me! I would be able to learn how to get experience and make these connections with others. This would also end up being a great way to get an inside of the business that the executive runs. I know that as a freshman there might be more difficulty compared to other resumes but it never hurts to try!
The final internship I was able to find was the E-commerce Operations which is a service that had Amazon businesses as clients. In this, they want to look for those who are motivated to learn more about client services and be able to have management skills to complete the job. These are critical to ensure that the accounts functions for our clients are working. This is highly encouraged for students to apply to gain experience to add on their resume. We would have to make sure to document all the activity in spreadsheets that will be submitted to the higher ups. We have to make sure that we end up breaking and disposing the boxes being sent to the office. There will be teamwork involved and I have to make sure that all the assigned tasks will be complete by the end of the day.
I love being able to work in teams and communicate with one another to finish the tasks. I will also make sure that I manage these profits or boxes coming in to ensure that everything will be fine. I know that working in this, I will have an inside on how others have decided to construct their business. I would like to create a small business of my own and give others joy through my creations. As a student, they will be able to be flexible with my schedule and I would give my all to work as much as I can to gain that experience in the work field.
For Mr. Kate, she always makes sure to have this open mind and have this positivity come out and her videos. She has the comment sections open to the others and could give her feedback on what she did. She goes through the comments and likes all of them. She created this website where she sells her clothing or any type of jewelry and she makes sure to include pictures of fans that have bought from her store. She gives off this positive and almost sunshine radiant energy. I love the way that she was able to create her own brand and share this with the rest of the world. Mr. Kate is not afraid to show her bad sides as well to show that vulnerability side.

I have recently gotten into thrifting and she’s one of my favorite accounts I ended up following on Instagram. She makes sure to always promote herself on stories and actively goes on live to promote her shop. She loves reworking clothing and making a new style out of this. I feel like I would love doing this, creating my own little type of business, not so sure about clothing but this would be a great way to experience what owning a business means. I am also seeing what a new business is like. I am watching her followers go off as she creates better clothing. She was also finally able to release her own link to her shop.

I love this account because I found her on TikTok but then she ended up moving to Instagram where she started promoting her clothing brand witches of anime characters. She was able to create these designs and have different options as to how you would like your crewneck or even a hoodie. She also made sure to always promote her stuff and just hear what others really wanted at the moment. She also had started off with earrings that she ended up making herself and a few designs that she had before but no most of what she sells is anime related which is honestly something super cool.
To begin, I would make sure to include details as to how I would fit a certain requirement. For example, if there was a requirement on being able to present I would make sure to include a presentation and some notes as to how I would end up showing these ideas to the audience. I would also make sure to include any experience that I have had. For now all I would end up including would be that I am working as a cashier at Rubios. As I do like experience, I will end up describing the traits that I have and make some examples on how those could be applied to the position.
